Just out of curiosity, you don't happen to know of where I could get a new throttle cable do you?

I don't but I'm sure that there is an aftermarket one out there that you could use, just make sure it's for 36/38mm carbs..

A std 76-78 LF throttle cable will work. They will pull the 36s fine. The fit is snug for the carbs are spaced a bit farther apart than the LF but works fine.

Cool thanks Dustin. Yeah my plan is to have my Dator sitting in the judging lane at Waconia this year so fingers crossed hopefully she'll make it in time.

Well, I gave Larry who did the repop pistons a call to see if I could get some bearings from him and he said he doesn't have any extras and would have to sell me a complete set with pistons in order for me to get them. Apparently when they bought the needle bearings for the repops, they bought all they had and they don't have anymore. So I'm kinda back to square one on these things. Ugh

Thanks,
Brian

You needed 19 mm ID gages right?
What is the OD?

The 292 kawasaki bearings are 19 x 23. These did not have the correct OD?

Yeah the Id was correct and the wrist pin fits, but they bearing doesn't fit in the connecting rod. I'm not sure of the top of my head what the size for the originals is but I think Kenny said it earlier in this thread.

Thanks,
Brian
