Just got my sled back from the shop i have never rode it just got last spring. got it going tonight after cleaniing carbs now it will run fine for a 1/8 mile and when i turn around to go back it makes a poping sound under the hood i will turn around for anothr pass and it will run fine. i parked it and reved it up and flame came out of exhaust i shut it down and more flams when engine stopped what is the problem???? any answers let me know

your sled is backfiring u might hav gas in your crankcase unhoke the gas and pull the plugs out and leave them in the cap so they are grounded on metal and pull it over until the flames stop or gas is out and your needle and seat might be stuck to

put new needle and seat in and nothing new in way it is running. i took it out anyway and it runs fine at a certain speed 30 but wont go faster then 35 it just bogs and backfires i will try to unhoke lines and take plugs out and pull over for a while any other posssle things wrong??

do you have the spark plug boots on the right way. or maybe it's out of time. or maybe you seals are bad in the bottem end of the motor. or maybe there is a wire shorting out on the tunnel some where. it does not take much to make them work bad.
