Help finding parts CCW KEC-340

Post by Deleted User »

I cant find parts for my +-73 JD 400
It wes 1/2 in water for a while so I need all the internal electrical stuff, I think I found most of it at mfgsupply.com but I cant find a flywheel, mine is all rusted and the internal cam for open/close points is so worn and pitted it will not open the points.
So any help would be much app.

Thanks for the help.

They may have what you are looking for. If your flywheel is rusted, you should dissassemble the engine and inspect the crank bearings. The crankcase may have or had water in it as well.

If you want some used parts I have a complete set up out of a used motor as far as the coils/points plate. Someone else from here already got the flywheel though. I only have some 440 flywheels right now.

I have some NOS CCW point and such. I will run the p/n's and see if I have anything you need. I do have NOS flywheels, but most of them are for CDI Kioritz motors, but I will check.

Good luck with your 400,
