My Summer Project

Here is my Summer Project, a 91 Eagle Talon. It was set up as a race car when I bought it but it needed some motor work. It needed new pistons and some head work. I race it at a local dirt track, Eagle Valley Speedway near Jim Falls WI. Last Sunday I started 6th in the Feature and finished Second. I was happy with that for my first time out this year.

Awesome job for your first nite out. My kids and I go to Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee IL nearly every friday night. The late models are my favorite, but I stay to watch all the classes run. The smell of the racing fuel when they get ready to take hot laps is almost as exciting as smelling a 2-cycle starting up for the first ride of the season. What else can someone do in this day and age for hours of entertainment for only $12. I keep telling my kids that I'm going to buy a racecar when I grow up.
