question about kawi exhaust

kawasaki put two different types of stock single exhaust on their snowmobiles. one kind had a long manifold and a pipe with a short neck. and the other had a short manifold and a pipe with a long neck. i have several pipes with the long neck but i need to find a pipe with a short neck. does any one know what sleds the pipe im looking for might have come out of or where i could get one?

i might hav wut your lookin 4 if u can send me a pic of wut its suppose to look like i will match it up mine is off a chapparal it has a long manifold and a short neck

is it a kawasaki pipe? it needs to be a true kawi pipe or it wont jive with the motor. you wouldnt belive how much research and development they put into their product to make it as fast as it was. i have tried several different pipes with no luck or performance. what i need it for is my 80 liquifire. the kawi pipe with the long neck does not fit in the belly pan. the pipe wit the short neck is about the same size as the stock jd pipe, but the guts are different. ive also tried cutting a pipe and making it fit, but then i lose backpressure, resulting in a loss of torque.

Try the pipe off a Drifter. I think my drifter has a short pipe on it. If you could go on like eBay or something Im sure they might have one you could look at. The 340's and 440's may have different pipes though. Im not sure.
