Need Cylinder's
I need both the left and right cylinder for a 1979 trailfire. It is 44o and i want no cylinder wall damage, as well it must be the factory bore size. If any one has a pair or knows where a pair is please let me know.
Re: Need Cylinder's
Hi. What are you looking to spend? I have an 81 Trailfire engine that I removed from a sled 2 years ago, fogged it, and put it on the shelf. Ran good when removed!!! I could part it out, cylinders, heads, and pistons if you are interested? I,m in Ontario Canada, but parts could be mailed. Its the cheapest way to ship. Done this many times before, and I DON,T sell junk. Fellows on this forum are my referance. Let me know and I will tear it down to confirm...Rob.
Re: Need Cylinder's
What are you looking to sell the cylinder heads for?
Re: Need Cylinder's
jeepin52. As stated, I will tear the engine down to confirm condition. I would sell the cylinders with pistons and heads, so all is matching. I would think all should be worth $100. plus mailing, pending inspection.( thats $50.a complete jug) I won,t sell you junk. The complete engine I would let go for $150. but it would have to be crated and shipped. You would want to tear it down and re-seal it though. Shipping would be a killer, so its better to part it out for you fellows in need.If you don,t want it, the offer is extended to everyone else on the forum. Let me know.....Rob.
Re: Need Cylinder's
yeah let me think about it a couple days and i'll get back to you as soon as possible. Do you have the clutch as well? How much would you want for it as well?
Re: Need Cylinder's
I do have the clutch, but I would like to keep it as its just a matter of switching things around and I can use it in my other sleds...Rob.
