if im thinking right you can run a mikuni slide on a 1980 spitfire?
if so ill need the mikuni slide carb with cables, the intake and the airbox boot

im also looking for a muffler for the 80 spitfire

I'm assuming you have the Kawasaki engine? One of the issues I see, is the carb adapter part, unless you are going to install a bigger carb, than what originally came on Spitfire's. The original, round slide used on 78's, was a 28mm, which will not fit the kawasaki style carb adapter, the butterfly carb is bigger in diameter. Given the style of adapter, round tube, I'm not sure they make one that would reduce down to the correct size for the carb. The Kohler engines use a bolt on type carb adapter, which can be purchased for the 28mm carb, which makes the switch easier. If you went with a larger carb, that might work, but I'm not sure. You may run into an issue with the airbox boot fitting. However, I did purchase a parts Spitfire last year that had what I believe was a 32mm carb, that used the stock aibox boot. Not sure if this helps to clear things up, so ask questions if you have any.
I have the Kohler carb adapter, airbox boot, throttle cable, and a muffler, if you need any of the items.
