i had a couple questions about swapping the motors out in my 77 liquifire, it came with a koritz 340 crank is rusted up and pistons are shot, i have a good 440 koritz but it needs crank seals are they something i can replace my self or is there a center crank seal that i would have to take a shop and have them press apart and replace?
aslo my other question is after i get the motor in and the dual carbs cani use the ones off my 340? im sure there are certain adjustments that i will have to make to the main and pilot jets, what would you reccomend as far as sizes or any tips

The crankseals can be replaced easily. The center seals seem to last a long time but the only way to replace them is to split the crank.
The carbs can be used but you must rejet them accordly following the specs for the year of the engine. The carb specs are in FAQ section.

alrighty thank you, i did bring the motor in the house today and checked it all out and sure enough the only problem i found i was that the recoil side spark was very week compared to the PTO side (almost wasn't even a spark) so i changed the ing. coil out with a brand new one off a parts motor and it has great spark now on both cylinders, i check the compression and it has good compression both cylinders seem to have right around the same amount, so i got it all put back together today and i have to clean the carbs and figure out the jetting specs for the carbs, i did also get a nice seat for it, as well as another heat temp gauge 9the need fell off the original one, and i got a brake caliper assembly to put on it, other then hooking everything up after dropping it in, and hooking up the teather it will be ready for the snow, thank you guys i appreciate all the help
