top deere mileage this "season"

Post by luvzvintage »

I realize its bin a crappy excuse of a winter and this mite not be a very good Q to put out there but am curious as to top deere mileages!

I got 720 miles last season and thot i'd get nowhere near that this season, however, i've managed to accumulate approx. 850 miles! :) Most of these miles on old skool "trails" too as alot of areas where ive sledded are sanctioned trails but ungroomed.

regardz!

Brock and i put on a total of 1.7 miles on a 78 spitfire one saturday night. That was the extent of our riding this season.... What do we win?

Sorry Dustin, you and Brock are shy by about a half a mile. I put 2.5 miles on the 82 Spitfire I sold, and my 77 Liquifire. Better luck next year!

Dustin, you and Brock win the honor of restoring the 78 Liquifire charity sled! Congrats, LOL!

If it wasn't for the vintage challenge, I would have only put down 1.7 miles testing the I-500 Liquifire out. In St. Germain, I did about 250 miles on the 84 Liquifire riding the poker run the challenge, plus about another 20 testing out the racer. I was greatful that I got any riding in at all! :sled: :sled:

Ya. I emptied the fuel tank, cleaned it up and decided to leave it as a dust collector. I will have my 76 liquifire restored and ready for next winter.

Pat, if we add trailer miles from NY to St. Germain, over to the Twin Cities and back, I should be up to about 3,000 miles in the trailer. Would be great to have you and Matt come to St. Germain again next year, it was about the only place in the country with snow. :letitsnow:

0, but I did get 100 feet on the Alouette this summer. :bonk:

I was a poor winter and I was away for 5 months so the little we did get I never got a chance to ride on.

Got about 30 miles on my 74 JD 600 this winter. Looks like the 3/4 tank of gas I have left in it will power my boat this summer.
Old sleds are hours of entertainment.... then you get to ride them for a little bit.

Wow. I guess I should feel pretty fortunate that we got 60 +/- miles last weekend.
