stators

Is there any difference between a Liquifire and Cyclone stator because there is one on eBay that says it fits all 76-78 with cdi while the other only says 400 and cyclone and is half as much. I would say they are the same but I would like to make sure in case I buy one of them. Thanks.

The stator is different between the cyclone and liquifire for model year 1976. The difference is the length of the wire leads. The cyclone has the wire leads about 2 times as long as the liquifire. There was change in the connector from serial number 70001- up. The connector changed to a round style. The stator is the same for both the cyclone and liquifire with the round plug connector.
