Dator lineup confirmed

Post by JDT »

Sitting on the grass in Milbank SD is a line up of some really nice and very special Dators.

Thanks to Dustin and Jesse for displaying their JD's at the show.

Aloow me to make a correction.

Ron and Mitch also had Dators on the Grass.

There was total of 7 1/3 Dators on display.
This is rumored to be the most ever seen together since a cold day in January back in 1976.

What i find so cool is that the Dator #73 is my old restoration that i did and never fired up the sled. Showed it a couple times and back to storage it went for the next 7 or 8 years in a dark lonely basement. If you were to listen closely on them cold snowy days you could hear a faint wimper. Yes she was very lonely and felt unloved.......................Than along comes this fellow . Lets just call him Ron... He had expressed an interest in this Liquidator but not sure if it would be a true love-connection. Night before the blind date he would lay awake all night with anticipation of what was to come. His Wife even blessed the meeting between the two. All the better......... Next morning with bloodshot eyes Ron would roll his truck into my driveway for the big introduction.....................#76 and Rons eyes would meet and love was in the air.. Deal was struck and She was loaded up for Her new home.......................I was never happier as she truly had gone to a very good home where She will be loved throughout her days.....Whats even better is that Ron would bring Her to life and make Her sing once again.
Thank You Ron...............Thank You. You done me proud.
