ya ya ya i know perfect for 75 400 of my dads seems it has a newer ski on it , didnt remember that , but it has now seen daylight for the first time since '88 or so :clap: wade

Its not right for any of the '75s Wade. They all have top mount shocks. This is a side mount shock ski....

It's a '73 ski. Like Dustin said, side-mount shock in that top hole.

the parts book [unless i read it wrong ] claims its for serial number 30000-55000 ill double check my stuff thx , wade

I just looked it up, you're right Wade. The parts book does say -55000. This should actually be for -30000.... Not really sure why the book says that. All of the 75's should have skis on them like my 800. Check them out. I probably have a spare set, but they would seem to be 850 miles away from me.

The '74 ski didn't have the plate across the top of the front spring mount like this one does.

I missed that. Yes, if it has the plate welded across the top of front spring mount, then it is a '73 ski.
