If you look closely you can also see that it says Tuhitsu Noki (spelling) which I believe was the motors Rupp used.

After looking at the auction and looking through my Intertec manual (that covers all brands) I could not find where this eng was used in or even what make it could be. It appears CCW never had a Free air eng (according to the manual) and I could not find a model # that matched a KEC 340rs. What I found was a Kioritz (KEC 340-rs/2) a Kohler K340RS used in Mercs. or a Sachs motor that was free air and had dual tillotsons which the model was a SA-340RX Nothing was exact. but being it was made for CCW it may have the 60 by 60 bore & stroke. Could this be a proto eng for deere? it looks to have points, not cdi like the deeres have. I do have a 295/s eng that only has KEC 295RS but is fan cooled and cdi. so maybe? It is interesting to say the least. It might be a good buy just to investigate at .99

As long as we are talking "RS" engs here I have been questioning my 295/s eng I have. The tag only says 295/RS on the tag and it stamped in it not etched like the one in the auction. now thw serial # is 43X00025 it does have the 295 style cdi and takes mic carbs which I have. The lower tag also says made expressly for CCW by Kioritz. The guy I got it from says it is a 295/s eng and the eng came with lots of 295 parts with it. DO you guys think this is actually a 295/s eng? (this comes as i found a 295/s tunnel in good shape and it has the wrong eng. Should i go with the 295/s eng or a 340/s eng?)
Thoughts appreciated
