This sled has been posted on Vintagesleds.com several times before. He wanted $1250 for the sled before.

Just checked on Vintagesleds under 340/s... Looks like the same but the one on VC was from Osceola IL..... Very similiar looking sled with the exception of a decal on top of hood.
Might be different sled????

Think it's different , this guy says he just bought some property and these sleds were left behind , not sure. Wade

I'm convinced it's a different sled from the Illinois sled that's still for sale at 1250.00 as far as I know.

Where at was the illinois 340/s. Back in like 04 there was one around the Monmouth, IL area that was pretty rough. I thinks it's still around there.

Just talked to Seller and he tells me that he has somebody coming to look at sleds tomorrow all the way from Canada.......... Now that a dedicated collector.

he sent me a txt this afternoon saying that he had someone coming tomarrow willing to pay 1000 bucks for it , didnt say anything about being from canada your right chuck , to drive from there and pay 1k ...wow wade

And to think.....at 9am on Sunday morning he was prepared to take it to a scrap yard!!! Thanks to all who talked to him and saved another precious sled!!

Happens all the time....... Somebody puts up something for sale. All the experts contact Seller telling them they have a very good , rare find and tell Seller what they
really need to charge. Price goes threw the roof and somebody has to fork out big bucks. See it all the time...... What i dont understand is why these experts just dont buy it?
