tether switches

Post by JDXspec »

Got a problem with my tether switch with my custom liquidator. It has an arctic cat motor and the tether switch does not make good contact all the time which makes the eng run poorly or not at all. the cap won't stay on real well, If I hold it down it works but soon as I let go it slides off enough to make poor connection. Its and SPI brand tether, are there any better switches out there or a good way to make this one work better?

I put a zip tie around the cap on mine. It will still come off if the worst should happen but prevents it from popping off during normal operation.
