summer time prep- Tractor pulling!

Post by JDXspec »

Well Its getting time to gear up for summer. While the full season doesn't start till June, Once in awhile you have the chance to take it indoors. So March 9th I got a pull in Norfolk, NE. Gives me time to try out the new upgrades for my tractor to see how they work. If they don't work i got 3 months to figure it out. Hopefully I'll get some pics maybe even a video. Its not your avg Super M Farmall... powered by a 5.9 L cummins :beers;

Have you little faith young Elder? Its almost ready the paint is still wet at this point but after that it should be easy. reinstall front weight bracket, wheelie bars, fenders, and we'll be ready. The real question is, can you handle it?

Jimmy,
I have done garden tractor pulling in the past. I run a 682 Cub with a v twin in the stock class. It is still used as my garden tiller yet too. But the 3" staraight pipe makes it more exciting and loud for pulling.

Glad to hear it will be ready. I'll bring my helmet Saturday. I've been looking forward to this for over a month now. I haven't gone down the track in over 3 years. This will be a good test to see if i still have it! :sled:

Well, It may have rained tpday but the the was inside so it was all good. Tractor ran really well, I now know what I may need to change before the real pullin season starts. And it turns out Elder couldn't handle it as he pulled a Rainville and arrived LATE! :lol22: SO I got no pictures- maybe later this summer I get some good ones.
