Just picked it up today - motor turns over - track looks good - last current registration was 2005 so there is hope

Should go good with my 78 Cyclone
but here is a picture of the 78 Rupp I restored last year - which one is faster?

i had a 76 nitro 440 rupp and it was bad fast

Nice Sled, My favorite of the Deeres. Looks like a good restore project. Dont know how the race would turn out! my guess the Rupp would leave it off the line but the Deere would come by it on the big end. Might Be Wrong. Brock

skoalmint - do you have pictures of your 78 - I see you have on on your avator
I do like this year of the deere's the best too.

The Rupp was bad ass fast though

Hey guys, what color is the front bumper on a 78 liquire. My paint is all gone and not sure if it is gloss black or blitz black. Or something else.

The NOS bumpers I have from 76-77 are anodized black. I would all the color 'semi-gloss' as it's not flat, but not real shiny either. I think the 78's were the same color.
