I JUST WANT TO CHARGE THE BATTERY,CAN I USE THE RECTIFIER OUT OF A CAR ALTERNATOR??THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY INFORMATION.

I got the same one from image and i couldnt figure it out either, then I found i didnt need it anyway because I had the right rectifier. It has an internal rectifier so you wont need another one. Do you have the rectifier that goes on the battery box?
If not I may be able to help you out. Do you have the oem wiring harness for electric start?

I've got some spare parts if you need them, solenoids, wire positive terminal to solenoid(1), if anyone needs it. I've got a rectifier but not sure I'm willing to give it up yet.

Sporty- you have any instructions on how to build the rectifier?
