Congrats on being a proud Deere owner! Give it a good going through, replace the crank seals, and you will have a great trail machine. The Cyclones are about the most indestructible sled that Deere made. If there are parts you need for it, many board members (myself included) can probably help you out.

ok thanks, ya plan on going thru her to get it ready for snow. then maybe restore it next summer. im going to be looking for a rear bumper and snow flap. think the only 2 things so far cant find for it.
Re: 1976 john deere cyclone
I agree with Tom. A well built tough sled that will give years of enjoyment.

seems to be a well built sled, ive owned alotta sleds and actualy work on sleds and atv's from home. had couple early 70's cats 2 years ago and learned why I hated them as a kid.lol my boys had a couple colts last 2 years and sold them last spring. wanted to collect something different and not seeing jd figure I would start there. plus I think there sharp looking sled.

Cyclones are my favorite too, I have 5 and ride them more often than not. Good to see another one getting put back into riding shape. They are great sleds, that look and perform well!!
