2001 arctic cat zl600 efi

I picked this sled up with no spark and I am totally stumped because everything ohms out per cat specs. I am wondering if anyone has the arctic cat specs for when cranking the motor for the AC voltage out put from the stator to the computer. The ecu does blink once when I turn it over. This is a 2001 cat zl 600 efi esr model and has the batteryless efi so the battery is just for the electric start, it only has 1500 miles on it. I have checked everything mulitple times it has to be something simple. Thanks

You could try unplugging the kill switch on the handle bars, also make sure the throttle cable is adjusted so it pulls the throttle lever back to throttle block.

Are you getting good voltage from the stator when you are pulling it over? This may be a point where the battery start can help. If you can have it crank over for a few revolutions and get good voltage from the stator, trace it through to the coil. Sometimes these parts can ohm out just fine, because your meter only puts a very small amount of current through and measures the voltage drop. When you try to put more than a few milliamps through them, you get voltage breakdown.

This headache will Start sometimes and no spark sometimes. I put a new stator in it but now thinking it maybe the timing sensor but I have to pull the motor to change it on this sled.

turns out it was the timing sensor which is a pain in the a>> to change. and a reminder as to why i always regret buying cats but can't turn down a good deal.
