Studied the pic of Bob on the home page, appears to be at Forest Lake in 1977, Brian is next to him on the Cat, Hubert is lifting it for clean out, down the line is Mike Trap, the eventual winner. SRXs are entered for the ice speed, they will not survive, in the background is a ETD suburban, and appears Tom Otte is the Deere sled slightly hidden. I could not run this race , frost bite took all my fingers and the cornas of my eyes, I did run the 500 the next weekend and took 12 th I remember, or something like that. JRC

And just beyond Trapp's Yamaha is a yellow hooded Dator raced by Jim Zimmer. Son Bob now owns that sled and it's sitting in a museum.
