carb swap ideas

Hey guy's I was thinking of doing a carb swap on my jdx4 special and was wondering what carb i should use?

is that the 340/5 engine?
I'm in the same situation. mine had a 76 340 cyclone Mikuni and it seemed to run well but would continuously bog and I've gone thru every other item, so I'm thinking its carb related. So, I'm now going to try a 81 TF Mikuni - much smaller main jet etc. I've got it running, however, waiting for snow now in order to load test it.

Yeah it's the 340/5 and i have been running the original bendix carb for six years now.the sled starts first or second pull but bogs like hell i really don't want to swap the carb because of how nice it runs i just hate the boging.
