Weekend deere pics please

Post by Steven »

Had a great weekend riding around the Grimsby ON area. Burned through a tank and a half of fuel on the Sporty. Today I lined it up against a 79 and a 81 Intruder. I had them off the line and it was close at the end of the field. I let a friend take the TNT out with the little kids for fun. They had a blast and makes all the work I've done priceless. Especially when I heard them say "why are they so tippy???"

Here are mine before I went out Fri morning. Wife and I went out for about a 40 mile ride on the Liquifire and Trailfire with a friend. The sleds ran perfectly and we had a blast. About 5 miles from home I broke the ski tie rod on the Liquifire while going 45 or 50 and the left ski went far left. Got it stopped after an exciting few moments and had to ride double on the wife's Trailfire 340 the rest of the way home. After that, I spent the rest of the day on the Sabercat. I have a tie rod on the way from Dustin, so hopefully the Liquifire will be going by the next snow. Later, Jeff

Old sleds are hours of entertainment.... then you get to ride them for a little bit.

I Just Got A Go Pro and am learning how to use it. It is fun to play with it. The old 600 runs great. I think it might do 60 on a hard trail. Need more snow, ruff riding on the little we got.

The 600 is the redheaded step child of the Derre line.

It is a great model and the wide track underneath is a favorite of mine.

You have yours dialed in very nicely. :letitsnow:

The boys were out exercising the '81's. Might be the only snow of the year the way it looks. Two days of melt down and a return to the freezer has reduced conditions to bare ground, frozen drifts, and glare ice. Not......good! :boohoo:

Picture from bents camp on Friday from rwtc. We had just arrived and we're headed in to get some lunch. Joe Rainville bought lunch, with some dispute, but he insisted. We had a great ride, and can't wait to do it again next year. Mine is the sportfire with the fat guy standing behind it. It ran great, except for using ALOT of Gas. Worth all the money that was spent, and more to spend in the upcoming year. It's funny how something like this just fuels the DISEASE!!! Later LIncoln
