340/s duct work

Post by Jd sled rider »

Hi everyone, I was just in the shop looking at my 340s that I have slowly been acquiring parts for, I was wondering about the ducting. I remember seeing a post about this when reading in the archives, but I see it went cold. I do have all of mine, but one piece is cracked and very brittle. I intend to ride this beast when she is completed, so I feel this is something that needs to be addressed. My crank guy worked some voodoo magic, and that thing looks like a million bucks. I am hopeing to have it togather for next winter, but it will have a few personal touches. I was just hopeing to stir the topic, and see what others have done. There are several beautiful 340s sleds around, and I just wanted to see if they all had all the pieces. Thanks for the time, Lincoln

The underhoid ducting has been a hot topic for sure , yes most are brittle and cracked if at all intact . Also the fan duct would be a good repop project , they seem to have all hit the trash at some time. Wade

Wanting a repop hood, and then I'm gonna need this duct work for it, would be a good idea.
