1974-1977 Slide Suspension and Ride

Hey Rich,

Nice info on the suspension calibration. Maybe you can give some background on the change from two rear shocks in 74-75 to one rear shock from 76-77. I always wondered if they couldn't get enough dampening with one of the available shocks at the time vs. the added mass and complexity of dual shocks.

Rich, the value you add to this site is terrifific, that combined with the facts, knowledge and experiience really sets this site very high amoungst other sites, add the Rainville data base and it is really something!
