Chattanooga fiberglass parts on eBay

Post by mfd1221 »

Just curious if anyone has used these fiberglass hoods or TRPs on a 80+ LF? If so how's the fit and durability? Any info is helpful, thanks Jim

I did the TRP's on a liquifire. Hate to say it but I didn't like them. They look ok for a driver sled but for a high end resto I wouldn't use them. Sorry just my 2 cents

Appreciate the input but it would be important to know why you didn't like them. Very few have used them and they should know what's bad about them (and what's good about them).

sorry your right
they just didn't look right and the fit was off. One tilted up on one side and the other took some trimming to get it to fit.re drilling the holes is a bit of a pain also
Im my opinion they just look out of place. Like I said they would be ok for a rider but not a high end resto

I know that Marshall but when someone says they don't like something I always want to know the particulars of why in hopes the item can be modified if needed. Your products are good.

Sorry no pictures and sled is long sold..

don't get me wrong they are made well I just didn't like the way they fit and looked.
with some time you could get them to look better but I just didn't like the look when I was done.

Again just my 2 cents . not bashing them in any way at all

I have looked at your hoods as a friend of mine bought your liquifire hood.
They are top notch. Very nice with very little work to get them to fit. Very high quality
