Liquifire/Comet 108 EXP Clutch Alignment

I just put a nice shiny new Comet 108 EXP on my '83 Liquifire.

Do I use the same alignment procedure and specs as the TR-800?

I have put several EXP's on both 80 - 81 and 82 - 84 Liquifires and never changed a thing on alignment. Perhaps I'm missing a technical opportunity, but I've never had an issue. The hardest part is getting the belt past the primary in the narrow chassis.

It works out to be in spec for the procedure given for the TR-800. I'm going to go with it.

Yeah, it is a little harder to get a belt around the 108, but not as bad as I thought it'd be.

It's worth the extra effort required to shoehorn the belt around that clutch.

Just took her out and rode her 5 miles tonight! What a difference that 108 makes!
