80 Liquifire Resoration - Label Plate Preservation?

Restoring 80 Liquifire. Plan to have chassis powdercoated. How do I preserve the chassis label plate? Can it be removed?

I believe if you contact http://egraphicsltd.com/decal-kits/john-deere.html. They will sell you the label sticker. Tape over the serial number and manufacture date. though.

The VIN decals that I offer are for 83-84 but would look good on any year. $12.00 shipped.
