Where to buy a cdi coil for a 1980 spitfire?

This looks like old news, but can I buy a new cdi coil for a 1980 spitfire anywhere TB340A Kawi engine. If not is there a retro fit? Just need a weblink or a phone number. Please help quick! Trying to have it ready for a father son ride over Christmas break.

Can I get the answer to this excellent question as well? I am desperate for an ignition coil for my 1980 Spitfire as well. I can only find Kholer ignition coils online...

You can solve the problem if you buy a new CDI-unit and a new ignition coil for the Trailfire 340.
You don't even have to cut ant wires or anything, just have to find a new place to place the CDI-unit.

It's the same units used om Kawasaki Intruder and Invader.

Thanks, super helpful... this is fully legit? I wouldn't need to change the guts out of the harmonic balancer?
