Have a question about the 340 cylinders in my 81 trailfire.
Are they chromed or nikasil plated?
If chromed do i need to hone them when changing pistonrings?
Cylinderwalls are nog glaced like mirrors.

Some says crome and other nikasil.

From what I understand. They were chrome from the factory. nicasil is preferred when having them redone.

They are chrome, nikasil is the replacement coating offered
