Power jet or no power jet. 80 liquifire
Power jet or no power jet. 80 liquifire
Started an 80 liquifire and I’m going to have to get carbs from somewhere. I’m hoping to find some with power jet but I don’t think there very many out there. So my question to you all is what does the power jet have to offer that a non power jet carb of the same model doesn’t have to offer? That being said what would you guys do? I can get a couple nice non power jet carbs off ebay but finding power jet vm36 Mikunis are going to prove difficult to find. Thanks

I would post in classified ad. With over 8000 1980 Liquifire built there is carbs out there.

I may have a pair that came off an Invader. Will have to check. But that said, you can bump up to a regular VM38 and don't run an air box. That swap has been done many times, on both JDs and Kawasakis.
