1979 Spitfire Drive Belt
I have a 1979 Spitfire and I'm just over 95K serial number. Is the drive belt the same for a less than 95K serial number? I can't believe there's any difference in the belts for any of the Kohler Spitfires, but wanted to ask as I need to get one before the snow flies.

According to the parts diagram the Kawasaki powered Spitfire used the longer belts and the Kohler powered sleds used the shorter belts. Kawasaki powered sled serial numbers are like 120,000 and up. I would say you are correct thinking all Kohler powered sleds use the same belt.
