Hey guys

I know the Dator pistons have been repro'd because NOS ones are nonexistent.

But are 340S pistons available from any source?

I don't need any yet, but it might be good to know.

Rich-

If you get the chance, could you get me the CCW part number for that piston?

Brian,

I can tell you that I have none of them in my stash. I had one once, but traded it off many years ago. They have a nicer polish than the standard piston port CCW/Kiortz motors.

They do use the same ring as the stock Dator piston, but they do not interchange in part due to a change in pin diameter. Not sure about the other dimentions off the top of my head.

Rich is probably right, we are going to need to call Wisco eventually...

Wanie casually mentioned finding one in his stash, but I don't know if he still has it or not. The good thing about them is that they are interchangable from left to right .

Ken has a whole crap pot of rings - I have a bunch of gasket sets and seals - that should keep them alive for awhile.

i think the regular 340/2 or 340/5 pistons will work wiseco made them as well as others.
Thanks,
Ted

I have a list of the detailed piston specs for the RS/2 and I've been meaning to check these against the /2 and the /5.

Rich-could you get me the CCW # off that 340S piston?

Greg, Rich, has any progress been made on this, inquiring minds need to know

Still wondering if my production 340 pistons will work.

Brian,

We all know you are busy digging through 340S parts.

:D Just wondering if you could compare one of the 340S pistons to the production 340 ones you have and give us some feedback on any noticable differences?

Thanks
