How would today's Packers compare to the Lombardi Packers?

First I'm going to ignore Bob's comment, he doesn't understand why the Packers are America's Team!
Here in WI, Brett is an Icon. He is a class act, on and off the field. He plays the game with an enthusiasm that is infectious. He is the type of guy fans feel they could hang out with. He is honest to a fault, no BS in the guy, much to the dismay of sports writers all over the country, he just won't spin them a good story.
He frustrates us sometimes, trying to make something happen, when he should be chucking the ball into the seats. He's lost the magical ability to elude the rush that made him so fun to watch back in the early '90s, but he is OUR guy, OUR icon, OUR record holder, one of the greatest QBs to ever play the game.
The game itself has changed greatly since Lombardi's time. Much more complicated, A LOT more money involved, prima donna players.
To compare Bart Starr to Brett is like comparing apples to oranges.
I was just a kid when Starr retired, do not remember the Superbowl years in the early '60s.

I don't want to perpetuate this thread but Brian, if you lived in Indiana you would make the same exact post but insert the Colts for the Packers, and Payton Manning for Brett Farve. One of my favorite Manning stories comes from one of his many visits on Bob and Tom. When asked how he disquises himself when he wants to go out to eat, he said "I wear my jersey, no one would ever believe that Peyton Manning would go to a restaurant in his jersey".

Anyone got some medication to help me stop puking on the this stuff. Green and Yellow belong on Deere's only. My Father lives about 45 miles West of Green Bay and he agrees.
NO I AM NOT A STINKING BEARS FAN EITHER! My team wears the Blue and Yellow and thats all I have to say about that!
