I am thinking about putting a new set of rings into this engine, now it has the original pistons which do not look bad at all. Can I buy a set of piston rings from Dennis Kirk or Central snowmobile or do I need original rings only and may have to buy pistons and rings from the above mentioned dealers!
If I need original rings, where can I buy them!

You can buy standard OEM type rings from DK or Central. I would hone the cylinder walls and check the ring end-gap before installing the new rings.
