Clutch puller length

Post by webman »

I am having nothing but problems trying to get a comet clutch off a 79 Trailfire 440. Can someone tell mw how long the puller is supposed to be? I think mine is too short.

The one I have is 6 1/4"

Is there another place I can find it? It takes a long time for items ordered from MN Vintage to get here.

I have a 1980 trailfire and I use the one you have pictured up top, sometimes they are a bear to get off.
