RJ Carlson sled found

Post by I500 »

Since i lost my Cross-Country to Tom Otte i decided to pursue another. With a little help from my Friends we were able to locate a future project sled. She is pretty rough but i,ve actually seen worse. Sled is registered to a RJ Carlson through a dealer from Luck Wisconson. Notice all the bundgy cords on this sled. Anybody have a donar 78 parts sled?
Anybody know who RJ Carlson is? Special thanks to Craig for locating this sled

Chuck,

I can't believe your luck, nice job. You have a sled owned by the man himself. Only thing better than that would be the real #54.

I do have a few NOS parts for the 78's I could bring with me in November to help the cause. I could really use another Dator tunnel to complete one of my projects. (hint-hint)

I will really have to dig, but I know I have NOS ski springs, chain case, bar pads, radiator strap, complete driven clutch, and a bunch more NOS and used parts like the dash and vent panel, etc. How much of this sled to you really have?

Talk to you later, Liquidator!

Thanks Jon for clearing that up.

Joe. Thanks for the offer and i will take all the parts i can get my hands on . This sled has nothing left.

Also a Thanks to everybody that has sent me e-mails or phone calls wanting to help. You guys are the greatest. What i really need is a good 78 Liquifire donar sled with a straight pan. Also need the cross-country suspension which will be impossable to find but a guys gotta try.

Thanks for all the support.

Chuck, Your comment "Also need the cross-country suspension which will be imposable to find but a guys gotta try".
:shifty: I guess I would have to disagree with that statement, What do you have to trade or whats one worth to you??
