Ya I was wondering if you could machine my mating surface smooth again. I know the heads are warped but the jugs are probably going to be also. If you cant I understand. Thanks.

The heads wont be a problem, you can do this at home but I can do them if you want me to. As for the cylinders, I never machined mine at all, I blocked them with a machinist's stone and checked them for flatness. Let me know and I will make them flat for you.

I think that might be the best option. I want this to go back right. Send me a PM about pricing and maybe we can work something out. Thanks.

Ya I guess. I am going to pull the motor out before it starts to downpour.

Just sending the cylinders and head right?
How good is the Nikasil or chrome lining in the cylinders Bob? Can you see 4 places on each cylinder where they are scuffed?

I just pulled the whole thing yesterday. I haven't cracked it open yet. I did notice a pretty big scuff on the Piston on the Exh. side though. what about the case half that meets the bottom of the jug? Is it as important? Most of my problems were there as well as the heads.

Any sealing surface needs to be true and clean. A reminate of an old gasket will give you fits.
Rip it completly apart Bob.
Clean every piece to the point where it is spotless.
Inspect it all very closely.
