Sprintfire carb help

Post by guitardude081 »

I just replace the fuel lines, and filter in the Sprintfire, and now it won't suck any gas. I blow in the tank w/ the lines disconected, and the fuel pump starts shooting fuel, so I know that the pump is good. When the motor runs w/ gas in the cylinders, the carb won't suck any gas. Is it time for a rebuild, or is there another easy problem. This sled has already run this year, and it ran great, but the fuel lines cracked so I replaced them. Any thoughts.

make sure you have all the lines in the right place. did you replace the impluse line it could have cracked when you were replacing the other lines.

It's not kinked, It revs, It just seems like a belt is slipping or something. I'm either going to sell it, or put it in storage because I'm trying to buy my 98 indy back, if the guy will bring the price down to blue book. He wants $3000 for a $1200 sled, and that's high book too.
