NGK plugs for 84 Sprintfire

Post by 69camaro »

My 84 Sprintfire has NGK BR8ES in it right now. I see Champion Q-N2 plugs were original. I see .025 gap is recommended. I would like to know what NGK plug should be used as a replacement for the original Champion plug. Thanks Duane :thinksnow:

Has anyone tried NGK V Power plugs BR9EYA?

Quote from Sun and Snow

"BR9EYA and BR10EYA are the foul resistant replacements for BR9ES and BR10ES,
and are being used as original equipment on some sleds.
The High Tech Choice in Spark Plugs
NGK's unique V-Power electrode design causes the spark to form at the edges only
in order to promote easier and more complete combustion. This increased ignitability allows
the engine to burn leaner air / fuel mixtures. The spark can "cut through" any fouling or
carbon deposits and avoid missing. It also provides quicker starts, especially in cold weather.
The amount of spark absorbed by the centre and ground electrides - the quenching
effect - is minimized by the geometry of the V-Power plug. This reduced quenching produces
more effective, complete combustion for more power.
This all adds up to better starting, cleaner running and better fuel economy for all
vehicles. That's why NGK V-Power plugs provide high tech performance at an economic
price."
