Gosh Darn UK Buyers.........

Post by ChickenRat »

OK, so my '84 Snowfire didn't sell on E-Bay. So I relist it today. Guess what, yup.......just like last week a flippin' buyer from the UK with no prior transactions hits the "Buy It Now" button again and wants to send me a check for $1000 over the price of the item again. So I had to go through the whole process again.........Call E-Bay, file a report online, etc, etc. I've been a member of E-Bay for years and have never had a problem. Now, twice in one week. Problem is, since the item was "purchsed" I will be charged for those transactions. Now I will get my money back but they said it could take up to 60 days to refund it to me........

Did you check the option to not allow out of the US bidders?

Robb, I wouldn't do the buy it now anymore.

What I would do is the Best Offer option on ebay.

I just got a survey from E-Bay wanting me to "Post" my success stories for selling on E-Bay. I filled out my success storys alright.......

Thanks guys for the tips. I think I'm going to revise how I sell on E-Bay........

Jeff, good to see you today, thanks for holding those windshields all these months. I'm sure we'll cross paths again.
