Do you remember what you did to the molded bar tracks before you ran them in Dators?
My understanding is that in '77 drive sprockets were made to fit the Dator's hex driveshaft, and match the 2.52 pitch of the Goodyear molded cleat production track. I understand they had less rolling resistance, thus were a bit faster.
So my question: did you run them as they came out of the box, or did you bolt or rivet the cleats right away? ( that's my guess )

I have several of them but none are good enough to put on anything but a show sled. i would never ride with any of the ones that i have. they are all cracked and one that came from a 340/S the cleats are all rivited to the track
