Here are a couple of pictures of the "Charity Sled" at A1. Needless to say it was a huge hit. Lots of visitors stopped by and asked, "is this the sled on the www.jdsleds.com site?" To all who helped with this project my humble thanks as we got lots and lots of compliments.
Finally please give our own Jesse "deerememorabilia" Babler a big shout out for the great banner.
PS: Bob and I had a ball and if you had the "under" on Rainvilles arrival, you're a winner!! He made it a few minutes before the wager hour of 10:00AM. Claim your prize at the pay window.

I had talked to Raindeere around 5:00 pm on Friday. They were at Wanie's place then.
Doing some rough math: it's around 425 miles to New Lothrop, MI from Wanie's, or about 7 1/2 hours.
That is excluding any pick ups or deliveries Joe had to make, fuel stops, etc.
You also lose an hour going east, so at best it was going to be in the wee hours if they drove all the way. Then they had been partying with the madmen of northern MN the night before, so sleep was probably short. All things considered, they did good to drag in by 10ish Sat. morning.
