Did someone from this site get this '82 SNowfire?

Post by ChickenRat »

I was trying to work a deal on this sled but it is now sold. In the pic there is no seat strap, fuel filler is on the clutch side and it has the word "Snowfire" over the build tag. All signs that it is an '82. Looked to be in nice shape and hopefully someone from the site got it.

Robb, I'm pretty sure a fellow from Horicon picked it up on black Friday, at least he said he was going to get it then. I haven't spoken to him since, but I"m willing to bet it's in his shop. That's all I can tell you & the only reason I know that is he & I talked on Thursday because I was trying to get ahold of it as well. Win some you loose some.

Dave,

Glad someone who appreciates Deere's got it. I certainly don't need another sled. If I see a real rare sled that is priced right I will still snatch one up. I'm still looking at sleds but it really has to be something before I'll jump on one at this point. That would have been a sled I would have jumped on however. Looked to be in pretty nice shape overall and all the clues led me to believe it was in fact an '82. Nice price as well.

Take care and see you at Waconia this year!
