Where does the 5th exhaust spring ( the one way up high on the expansion chamber ) suppose to mount to?

Does that fifth loop look original Ken?
I have seen an added one on the top that an extra spring was hooked to the frame loop to hold the chamber against to loop.
My 75 X8 has this.

Todd, I'm just going by the parts catalog it show all 5 springs as the same part number & on going at the top of the expansion chamber?? but with using such a short spring I can't figure out where it would mount??
