Need help Geting my Trailfire running correctly
Need help Geting my Trailfire running correctly
I had a plug detonate, and my engine backfired. The sled seems to run a lil hot? Is this a timing problem?

Timing is very simple on these. All you do is line the mark up on the stator plate with the case half line on the bottom end. You have to pull the flywheel to check this. Make sure fan belt is good and that there is no mouse nest or anything in the shroud which is very common. Check for air leaks by spraying either behind clutch and around intake and case halves. Hope you find something.
