Is the 295/s seat different than the '75 JDX8? I can't tell from the pics I have...they look similar, but if different what specifically is the difference.

I was under the impression that all the early JDX, OO, and Cyclone seats were the same including the 295/s.

I installed a seat from a '73 500 on my 295/s for this year's HOF weekend. The only thing I ran into was that the mounting holes in the wooden bottom of the seat did not align with the holes in the 295/s tunnel. They were 1/2" off. The seat was all the way forward and bottomed against the brackets at the console. I had to drill new holes in the tunnel to mount the seat.
