OMC Rotary
Does anyone know anything about the OMC rotary engines? I am going to look at a '73 Johnson Phantom rotary over the weekend. I don't know if it is the 35hp or the 45hp, same engine I guess. I have heard these engines had some problems. Thanks

The O.M.C ROTARY COMUSTION.
Displacement.................. 528 cc
32.3 cu.in.
Horsepower at RPM.......... 35 at 5500
or 45 at 6500
Carburetor Make.............. Own
Spark Plug Make & Model.. CHAMPION UP-77V
Ignition Type.................... CD
Ignition Timing.................. Fixed
Yes they are the same Motor.
Not sure about the engines having problems though I haven't heard anything good or bad about them.
