340/S crank update

Post by 400brian »

Just thought I'd let you guys know how the crank issue turned out.

The re-built crank that I had diagnosed as twisted, went into Kenny Heins' truck while we were attending the Ride with the Champs. He took it back to MN, and got it back to Jerome Kretzman.

A couple of weeks later, I received an email from Jerome, agreeing with my assessment, and a promise to see what he could do.

Recently, the crank arrived on my doorstep. Jerome had re-assembled it in proper phase with the Locktite product that Skidoo uses on their cranks. No charge for this BTW. Thanks Jerome!

Don't hesitate to send your crankshaft work to Jerome.
