It would be nice if there was a section here everyone could down load your JD videos to...besides Youtube where there you have to search for them.
I hear about everyone's projects and restored sleds and Vintage Shows , I and others would like to see them in action.

Your carbs do fit a certain side just because of the jetting of the pto/mag side. but if it's running good now ....sweet.
did you replace the internal ignition coil on the stator plate......sounds like you did if it runs for 2 hours without bogging ....
any updates....

I'm having my son take off the recoil today after school hopefully the spring is ok , until the rope broke last week I never had an issue with it now it wont recoil back in...

I had some same issues in the past where it idled fine but as soon as you gave it gas it would bog and sound really bad....well a good carb cleaning was needed pay attention to the pilot jets their the ones that unscrew. Use a carb tool to make sure them holes are open then blow them out with air ho...

Well for my 80 LF the only thing and first thing I replaced was the primary spring to a blue polaris spring and never had a bog everything else is stock...when I punch the throttle the ski's come up and so does 80mph....

It may be a weak ignition oil.....how are your rubber carb flanges between the carb and jug...

If your sled starts and runs fine for about 30 minutes and then the power really fades try replacing your ignition coil. Mine has had this problem and I had it replaced problem solved. After starting your sled and running it until the power fades stop and let it cool down after that start it up and ...

My 80LF was running great until I took it to a guy to put on a new throttle cable/fuel lines...now it starts up like normal and sounds/runs great idleing until you give it gas then it falls over itself like running on one cylinder but both are firing fine....could this be a jet plugged..any help wou...
